Biography

Cathy Liu is an attorney at Foster LLP in our Houston office. Her practice primarily focuses on employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant visa petitions and permanent residency applications.

Cathy earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in Richmond, Virginia and undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to joining the firm, Cathy worked as an attorney at another Houston-based business immigration law firm.

Cathy is admitted to the State Bar of New York and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Asian American Bar Association of Houston (AABA).

Why Did You Decide To Become An Immigration Attorney?

As a first generation American, I value the hard work and contribution of immigrants to the United States and recognize the struggles many encounter with the complex immigration process. As an immigration attorney, I hope to aid in this process for our clients – Cathy Liu
