Why did you decide to become and Immigration Attorney?

As a daughter of immigrants, immigration and naturalization issues have always been an important part of my story. Immigration plays an equally important role in our American story, a country built on the ingenuity and grit of its immigrants. It has been a pleasure and an honor to help people navigate the U.S. immigration system and assist them in fulfilling their American Dream.

Activities

In law school, Jasleen was a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and a member of the Board of Advocates. She amassed over 200 pro bono hours working on mostly asylum cases with Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center and was recognized with the Dean’s Award upon graduation.
