Biography
Jeffrey (Jeff) R. Quilhot is an attorney at Foster LLP in our Dallas office. His practice focuses on assisting clients navigating the employment-based nonimmigrant visa (H-1Bs, TNs, L-1, O-1s etc.) and green card process. Jeff has significant experience establishing and overseeing PERM labor certification programs for a diverse array of clients.
Jeff is experienced advising corporate clients through complex business immigration scenarios including mergers, acquisition, restructuring and reorganizations. He’s presented frequently on topics including best practices, PERM processing, and trends shaping US immigration law. He has assisted individuals of extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers and professors, and multinational executives obtain permanent residence in the United States.
Before beginning his legal career, Jeff worked as a Legislative Aide in Washington, D.C., advising on a portfolio of issues including financial reform, education, and immigration. He earned his J.D., as well as his bachelor’s degree, from Southern Methodist University. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
