Charles Foster Honored With 2020 Roy M. Huffington Award for Contributions to International Understanding

HOUSTON – Nov. 20, 2020 – Charles Foster was honored as the 2020 recipient of the Roy M. Huffington Award for Contributions to International Understanding. For many years, Charles has dedicated much of his career to the community through his work as a globally recognized U.S. immigration attorney advocating for immigration reform, cultivating international understanding, and strengthening cross-cultural relationships.

Charles Foster is the chairman of Foster LLP and is based in our Houston office. His practice focuses primarily on representing multinational companies and foreign investors regarding U.S. immigration law. He has served as senior immigration policy advisor to President George W. Bush in the 2000 and 2004 Presidential campaigns and as an immigration policy advisor to Barack Obama in the 2008 campaign. He currently serves as Chairman of Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston Advisory Board; Chairman of U.S.-China Partnerships; Member of the Board of Directors of the Asia Society Texas Center; Executive Committee Member of the Greater Houston Partnership and many more. Huffington, the Huffington Award distinguishes outstanding contributions that have furthered international understanding, welfare, and diplomacy on a global scale, and recognizes leaders who have been a major force on the international stage.
