On April 14, 2015, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) announced that CIS will begin premium processing adjudications for FY-2016 H-1B petitions on April 27th. This is an update from the previously announced date of May 11, 2015. This means that employers may expect adjudication or other CIS action by May 12, 2015, for petitions filed with a request for premium processing.
