The U.S. Department of State (DOS) recently published the Monthly Visa Bulletin for April 2021.
The April Visa Bulletin shows fairly significant movement in the Final Action Dates in the EB-1 category for individuals born in China (PRC) and India, rendering the EB-1 category current for all countries of birth. There was also modest forward movement in Final Action Dates in the EB-2, EB-3, and Other Workers categories for those two countries of birth. Final Action Dates continue to remain current for those born outside of China (PRC) and India in the EB-2, EB-3, and Other Workers categories. EB-5 remains current for those born outside of China (PRC) and Vietnam, and the Final Action Dates for EB-5 showed modest forward movement for individuals born in Vietnam.
While most categories saw no movement in the Dates for Filing, the EB-2, EB-3, and Other Workers categories for China (PRC) showed some modest forward movement.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has posted on its website that beneficiaries of employment-based immigrant petitions may file Applications to Adjust Status (“green card” applications) based on the Final Action Dates.
