December Visa Bulletin Shows Modest Advancement for EB-2 China and India, EB-3 China and Philippines

The U.S. Department of State recently published the Monthly Visa Bulletin for December 2016, reporting modest advancement to the “final action cutoff date” for EB-2 applicants born in China and India and for EB-3 applicants born in China and the Philippines. The final action dates for other categories remained stagnant or advanced only by one or two weeks. Notably, the filing dates remain unchanged from the November Visa Bulletin.

Applicants who will become eligible to file applications beginning December 1st are encouraged to contact their Foster immigration attorney now to initiate the preparation and filing of an I-485 Application to Adjust Status. By initiating new applications now, applicants can hope to file their applications as soon as they are eligible, on December 1st.
