EB-5 Investor Visa

7 Nov

The final regulations that will come into effect as of November 21, 2019, were published by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS), will substantially change the EB-5 Investment Program through which foreign citizens who do not have a close US Citizen family member or a permanent resident family member, or an employment sponsorship can still have a direct path to immigrate and obtain their legal permanent residency in the United States, commonly known as “Green Card.”

The Immigration Act from 1990 at first established that you could immigrate by investing $1 million US Dollars to finance new business, which would create employment for at least ten (10) US workers; or a business created in a Target Employment Area (TEA), such as a rural area or area with high unemployment then the minimum investment will be $500,000.
