Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority of the Ministry of Interior has recently announced that they will significantly increase the level of unannounced immigration enforcement inspections at workplaces across Israel. The inspections will include a review of labor and immigration compliance, place of work rules, and work permit terms. If any violations are detected, the authority has advised of the possibility of legal action against the employer.
