On Tuesday, February 23, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) published the Monthly Visa Bulletin for March 2021.
The March Visa Bulletin reveals some fairly significant movement in the Final Action Dates in the EB-1 category for individuals born in China (PRC) and India, as well as some modest forward movement in Final Action Dates in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for those two countries of birth. Final Action Dates continue to remain current for those born outside of China (PRC) and India in the EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and Other Workers categories. EB-5 remains current for those born outside of China (PRC) and Vietnam.
While most categories saw no movement in the Dates for Filing, the EB-1 category for China (PRC) and India moved forward by four months to become current.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has posted on its website that beneficiaries of employment-based immigrant petitions may file Applications to Adjust Status (“green card” applications) based on the Final Action Dates.
