The U.S. Department of State (DOS) published the Monthly Visa Bulletin for May 2020, which most significantly reflected substantial forward movement for EB-1 and EB-3 for all chargeability areas, along with modest forward movement for EB-2, Other Workers, and EB-5, across backlogged preference categories and chargeability areas.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) confirmed on its website that beneficiaries of approved employment-based immigrant petitions should use the “Final Action Dates” when filing adjustment of status applications during the month of May.

Please refer to the chart here for the specific updates reflected on the May 2020 Visa Bulletin.

Beneficiaries of employment-based immigrant petitions who may become eligible to file adjustment of status (“green card”) applications in May should start reviewing with a Foster immigration attorney the possibility of filing during the month of May.
