The U.S. Department of State (DOS) published the Monthly Visa Bulletin for September 2020, which showed little to no movement for all categories. The new bulletin showed slight forward progress for EB-1 for both India and China, as well as EB-5 for China and Vietnam, but all other categories remained the same.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has not yet confirmed on its website whether beneficiaries of employment-based immigrant petitions should use the “Final Action Dates,” or “priority dates,” rather than the “Dates for Filing,” when filing adjustment of status (“green card”) applications. In August, USCIS advised such beneficiaries to use the “Final Action Dates.”
