On February 15, 2019 President Trump signed the “Consolidated Appropriations Act (2019)” to fund the U.S. federal government for the 2019 fiscal year. This consolidated spending bill reauthorizes and extends the EB-5 Regional Center Program through September 30, 2019.
The extension of the EB-5 program enables qualifying investors to pursue immigration in connection with their investments while advocates pursue legislative action and program reform to better realize the goals of the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
Foster will continue to monitor changes in the EB-5 Investor Program and will provide updates as appropriate via Foster Immigration Updates© and on the firm’s website at www.fosterglobal.com.
