USCIS Premium Processing Fee Increases Effective March 1, 2026

12 Jan

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a final rule to increase USCIS premium processing fees under the USCIS Stabilization Act. This Act authorizes DHS to adjust premium processing fees every two years to account for inflation.

Key Effective Date:   March 1, 2026
Any petitions postmarked on or after this date must include the new fee for the specific benefit requested. Failure to include the correct fee could result in delays or rejection of the filing.
The updated fee schedule is outlined in the official DHS rule:  USCIS to Increase Premium Processing Fees | USCIS.

What Employers and Employees Should Do Now:
Plan ahead for these changes to avoid delays or rejected filings. Review your immigration strategy and budget accordingly to ensure compliance with the new fee structure.
