USCIS Suspends In-Person Services January 19 and 20

15 Jan

On Friday, January 15, 2021, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the suspension of in-person services on January 19 and 20, in a move intended to “ensure the safety of our employees and individuals with appointments” in the event of unrest related to Inauguration Day.

Services will be suspended on January 19 and 20 at all USCIS field offices, asylum offices and application support centers.  Those with appointments will have their appointments rescheduled.

USCIS is also closed on Monday, January 18, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a federal holiday.

Foster will continue to monitor conditions impacting USCIS service delivery and will make future updates available as appropriate via our firm website at www.fosterglobal.com
